A scientific study shows that half of respondents judge other people by their smile. Nearly 70% of people claim that a smile affects their self-confidence, and around 60% say that a smile is the first thing they notice about another person. But how do you achieve a smile that leaves no one indifferent?

Today, special attention is given to white teeth and a radiant smile. If you have concerns about the aesthetics of your teeth, we are here to address them. The services we offer within the field of aesthetic dentistry include:

  • Replacing missing teeth in the jaw
  • Reducing or closing gaps between teeth
  • Teeth whitening
  • Gum treatment
  • Correction of misaligned teeth
  • Replacement of dark fillings with high-aesthetic alternatives

Healthy, white, and properly aligned teeth — along with healthy gums (periodontium) — are just some of the requirements that aesthetic dentistry, as a multidisciplinary branch of dentistry, demands.

A radiant smile and beautiful teeth are the desire of everyone, and a challenge for every dentist.

Gingival Aesthetics

A proper alignment of teeth positively affects oral health, but special attention must also be paid to maintaining oral hygiene. Swollen and inflamed gums often appear around teeth with metal-free crowns. This gingival condition compromises dental aesthetics and takes away from the smile. To restore the smile, it is essential to maintain gingival aesthetics (pink aesthetics).

When teeth are properly aligned in the jaw, they are easier to maintain, because the physiological forces released during chewing have a beneficial effect on the tooth's supporting structures. Problems often arise with misaligned teeth. Due to their position and the uneven load placed on them, the dental support apparatus weakens. Teeth may begin to loosen, or conditions such as periodontitis may develop. The situation is further complicated when oral hygiene is not properly maintained. In such cases, orthodontic therapy is the only solution.

What is orthodontic therapy?

When you are missing a tooth in the jaw and a bridge needs to be placed between two abutment teeth, the malposition of the future bridge abutments can be a problem. Orthodontic therapy is the solution for achieving the ideal tooth position for a future crown or bridge.

Due to its incorrect position, the tooth (the future bridge abutment) must first be extensively drilled and devitalized, and is then incorporated into the bridge. An incorrect tooth position cannot be resolved prosthetically — in such cases, the aesthetic outcome is compromised.

Note: Orthodontic therapy is always performed first, and only then is prosthetic treatment carried out, where possible.

Prosthetic treatment also includes gum maintenance. At this stage, tartar is removed, the gingiva is leveled, and periodontal pockets are disinfected. After prosthetic work, all teeth should appear uniform. Teeth whitening is also possible, depending on the patient's wishes. The patient decides whether they want the metal-free crowns to be lighter than their natural teeth.

A radiant smile requires good cooperation between the patient and the dentist!

Healthy teeth and healthy gums – the guarantee of a radiant smile!

Healthy teeth and healthy gums are a prerequisite for a radiant smile. However, achieving that radiant smile requires thorough preparation and a well-defined treatment plan — one that both the patient and the dentist commit to following.

The therapy begins with an analysis. A proper analysis involves taking impressions and photographs of the teeth, and the new tooth is created in harmony with the patient's skin tone and facial shape. The Smile Design program helps in developing an appropriate treatment plan.

Ultimately, the patient's agreement to the treatment leads to the final result. And to achieve the desired outcome — a radiant smile that leaves no one indifferent — time and persistence are essential.

The desired effect cannot be achieved overnight, even with our highly qualified team and modern technology. So be patient, because the result will certainly come.
